They are made from 100% natural raw wood and are heat treated to prevent pests, mold, and rot. Cherry wood adds a mild and fruity smoke flavor similar to apple but with a bit more punch. It is great for adding a reddish tone to the items you are cooking and can be mixed with other fruit woods to develop a custom flavor.
